LEGACY Dance Company uk will ask you for your contact details when you join the company or take part in our junior classes.
These details will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of company administration. They will not be disclosed to any person outside of LEGACY Dance Company uk unless the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR) allows this - for example if we are required by a law enforcement body to do so.

To support participant development, we record their progress, personal progression and achievements whilst being part of LEGACY. We use various activities, forms and conversations to do this. We do this to help evidence the value of our work to each other and to our funders. All personal information is treated confidentially and if used reports, all information is anonymised.

Your Data
What data we ask for and how we ask for it
All contact details supplied for those under 18 must be for a parent or legal guardian.
We request your contact details, which includes your email and postal address, a contact phone number of your choosing and the participants date of birth.
We will ask for your data when you contact us in regards to enquiring about a Legacy Dance Company UK activity.
You may contact us via our website or social media pages. Once you have supplied your contact details we store it safely on our Legacy Dance Company UK secure database.
What we do with your data
We keep your contact details so we can inform you of any Legacy Dance Company UK activities.
If you are a member of the company it is understood that we will retain your data for the duration of your time with the company.
If you audition for the company and are unsuccessful we will retain you details to inform you of any opportunities with Legacy Dance Company UK that are open to all.
If you attend the junior classes (Mini & Little Legacy) we will retain your data to keep you informed in regards to the classes. We may also contact you about opportunities that are open to all.
If you wish to stop receiving information from us at any point you can let us know by clicking the unsubscribe button on our emails or by contacting us directly.
We will not share your data with any 3rd parties.
We will not sell your data.

Our responsibilities
Only Legacy Dance Company UK core staff have access to your data.
Up to date training for data protection is supplied by the company to core staff.
Any data breaches will be reported accordingly, including informing you.
You can request access to your personal information at any time via email.
You can update your details with us at any time via email, phone and in person.
Our contact details are available on the website. Company Members will also be given a contact phone number.
We will make every effort to verify the age for those under 18 to ensure consent has been given from their parent or legal guardian.
We will review and update our policy accordingly and we will inform you of new versions.

Participant Development
Whilst being part of Legacy Dance Company UK we record the participants progress, personal progression and achievements to support participant development.
These records may be used in documents such as funding bids and evaluations.
All records are anonymised when used in this way.
All personal information is treated confidentially.

Media Consent
Legacy Dance Company UK may take photographs or video for promotional and evaluation purposes.
These images may appear on our social media accounts online, website and printed publications.
Your permission was requested when you completed our registration form.
You can retract your media consent at any time by contacting us.
